Welcome...to the past! Attention all History/Social Studies Teachers! We all know how difficult it is to get young students interested in American History. Our goal is to spark that interest and get those kids excited about the subject you will be teaching them! How special would it be, for your students to hear about how life is in a particular era of our History - from a person living in that time? What if they could hear first hand about the battle of Gettysburg from a soldier who fought there? What if they could talk to Americans living in the mid 1700s and hear how angry they are about British occupation? Perhaps they would take notice of a 1645 Seneca Indian in full war paint describing his first encounter with the strangers from across the sea? Bygone Destinations can make this happen, because we have something that will have your students interested for weeks! We have a "Time Machine"! We can bring our time machine to your school and kick-off what ever area of our nations history, your planing to start talking about!  With the help of Proffessor Emit Levart, our wacky scientist, students will be both educated and entertained. We work very close with the teachers to ensure that the information they are seeking will be included in the presentation. We can bring our time machine right into a classroom, or we can set it up in your school gym or on a stage if you have one. We can give our hour long presentation to a single class, or to the entire 5th grade for example.  Bygone Destinations is planning to launch in August of 2011. |
